Otter cafes are run by café owners in Japan these Otter cafes have otters in enclosures where they are prodded and poked by the customers. Otters are Social animals and need a small group to survive and this denies them that and leads to death

Don't have them as pets

people think that adorable cute otters will make great pets but they won't. Otters are social animals and cannot survive on their own they also need a large area with water and grass. most owners of pet otters think that a bath and their garden will do, but it won't they hate captivity and taking them out the wild to keep them as pets is killing otters off

There are thirteen different types of otter from the 6ft tall giant otter to the 64cm Asian small clawed otters. They are hunted for their fur and the illegal pet trade.  This removes them from the wild and leaves very few left. they need to eat five times a day with a variety of fish and crustations, like crabs and mussels. They eat 20% of their body weight every day since they burn it of so quickly. These adorable creatures need to be saved.
